Unmanned systems

An unmanned system as a distributed capability: platform, communications, data, operator, maintenance and recovery cycle.

UDAF Defense does not reduce an unmanned system to an airframe. Capability exists only when platform, navigation, communications, data, operator training, maintenance, logistics and software updates work together.

This section is intended for architecture, reliability, integration and resilience analysis, not for publishing operational instructions that would create unnecessary security risk.
